This National Medical Association Diabetes Seminar aims to bring health professionals serving minority population to speed on available therapeutic options to improve diabetes outcomes. This program will provide attendees a better understanding of the diabetes epidemic in underserved communities’ worldwide and will focus on available and emerging interventions that may reduce diabetes related cardiovascular death and reduce limb amputation in individuals with diabetes.
